Artist Statement
The inspiration for this piece was the Holy Grail. I wanted to make a cup that was something people would be able to recognize. I like King Author movie about finding the Holy Grail.
I made my piece by first making four sketches of what I would make. I then made the basic beginning size that the piece would be. Next, I started moving the clay to make the goblet shape. Finally, I carved the crosses into the sides and smoothed out the clay.

Glass Project

To create my piece I first sketched it out in my sketchbook. I then sketched it lightly on the black paper. Next, I tested the colors on a scrap paper. Finally, I began using the white for the reflection and blue for the overall color.
The inspiration for this piece came from the X-Men movies and comics. In the comics, Rogue is a powerful mutant. I like her power the best because she steals any other power she wants. I also liked the white streaks in Rogues hair.
To create this piece, I first sketched out the character. I then picked out the colors I would use. Next, I drew the picture that would be my final piece. Finally, I began coloring the piece and adding layers.

Arts Alive Project
My inspiration for this piece was my mom. I was having trouble coming up with an idea of what to draw for the art show. She told me to draw a horse, and so I did. My mom also loves animals so she might like the piece I did when I show it to her.
I created the piece by first drawing the horse and woman with a pencil. I then used different shades of pencils to create shading on the face, body, and hair of the horse and woman. After that, I used colored pencils to outline them where the sun would be. Finally, I colored the background with blue chalk.
Emotion Project
Perspective Project
The inspiration for my piece was my nephew. I drew him because he is always happy doing what he wants. He is the joy in the family and really spoiled. I love him so I wanted to make my first art piece a present for him.
I first mapped out the face of my nephew to see how it would look. Next, I used the vine chalk to add shading to the face. Then I used white chalk to do the highlights on the face. Finally, I outlined everything with the charcoal pencil. I also went back and darkened some of the areas.
My inspiration for this piece is cabins. I wanted to draw a cabin in the middle of the woods. I also wanted to draw a light source, so I drew a candle in the window.
I created this piece by first, drawing my horizon and two points. I then drew a horizontal line to make the cabin. After that, I drew lines on the cabin for the wood. Finally, I drew the tress's and shaded everything.
Oil Pastel Project

To create this piece I first drew out the picture in my sketchbook. I then lightly drew it on the canvas board. Next, I painted the sky and then her body.
